Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Felicity is a poor role model. Comment: I recently purchased this for my niece for Christmas and didn't have time to read it until later on. I was so embarrassed to have to call her mother and explain that in Book 1 Felicity disobeys her parents repeatedly then when discovered is not punished. She also decides to break the law, knowingly committing a crime which is punishable by hanging. In Book 4 she chooses to disobey her parents and the law again to keep a promise to a friend. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Story! Comment: I bought this pack of the American Girl Felicity Collection since I remember reading it as a young girl. When I read the first book, it was like remembering a great dream. It's easy to read, and the pages in the back include facts about what it was like to grow up in colonial America. I love this collection and had always wanted it. Now I have it and I plan to keep it for when I have children so they will love Felicity as well. She read this collection of Felicity books in 7 days. Now she is requesting other books from the American Girl series.
