Mr. Willowby's Christmas tree Came by special delivery. Full and fresh and glistening green-- The biggest tree he'd ever seen.
That was the trouble. The tree was so tall, it couldn't stand up straight in his parlor. Mr. Willowby asked his butler to chop off the top of the tree. What happens to the treetop? Where will it be for Christmas? Snuggle up with this story and follow along through a forest full of friendly creatures who get to share in a bit of Christmas joy.

Customer Rating: Summary: Great Comment: Reading this book has become a tradition at my home. My 14 and 20 year old sons still love hearing this book read to them at Christmas time. I still read from the same book that I have had since I was a child. It is the 1963 original edition. We Love This Book! Very endearing.
Customer Rating: Summary: Don't hesitate to buy this book Comment: This book is also a family tradition. My mom got this book for my sister and I in the early 70s when we were just toddlers and we read it together every year to this day, even if we have to do a three-way phone call with Mom to read our parts if we can't get home for the holiday. Thank goodness it is back in print. Like I said, don't even hesitate to buy this - it is a fantastic book. We still want to read it even at the ages of 39 and 37!
Customer Rating: Summary: My favorite Christmas story of all time Comment: Like many others, I had this book as a child. I loved the story then and I still love it today. Reading it was one of my best childhood memories. I know my original copy was at my dad's (the house where I grew up), but after his move a few years ago, it hasn't been seen. I think it's still packed up and I'm bound and determined to find it. I'm thrilled to find it here because I wanted to get it for my step-son. I know he's going to love the story as much as I did.
Customer Rating: Summary: Pay it forward Comment: I have loved this story since I was a kid. Captain Kangaroo would read it every Christmas season. It was the first "pay it forward" idea, and it's really about the Christmas spirit. I have been passing this story on to all my Cousin's and family's newer editions, when they reach the right age. Lovely story, lovely illustrations, and a wonderful Christmas present too. Enjoyable for every age.
Customer Rating: Summary: A Must Have for Your Children Comment: After having 3 children, I've read lots and lots of children's books, some over and over. This is by far, the best and my personal favorite. It is written as a poem, and has a funny surprise ending! You and your kids will love it.
